If you’re looking for a traditional seaside retreat Torquay ticks all the boxes. A bustling resort with a pretty marina, boutique cocktail bars and of course a sandy beach to while away your days. Famed for its palm-tree lined seafront and idyllic marina, Torquay is one of the three towns that make up Torbay and is within easy reach of all of the area’s best beaches and attractions.

Towns like Brixham and Dartmouth are within just a short drive away as is the rugged beauty of tor-strewn Dartmoor. Torquay abounds with good places to eat including Michelin star The Elephant which is just fifteen minutes’ walk from the property, and Pier Point for a lazy lunch with marina and promenade views.

There are gardens to stroll through at Torre Abbey, and woodland walks to explore at nearby Cockington Country Park, which is also a great spot for a Devon cream tea. There are family attractions aplenty and you’re just a short drive from some of the region’s best loved beaches, what’s not to love!
